Very very good sashimi and sushi. This location is far superior in service and quality of food than the sub par location in Destrehan. The hostess was super nice unlike the one in Destrehan. We will be back to enjoy another meal there at River Ridge.
Food was excellent! Highly recommend the voodoo roll and the pineapple fried rice. Bring your appetite because they aren't stingy! We had a party of 6 and were served promptly. Only thing that could use some work is one of the the food runners needs to be told the name of the rolls because we don't know what they look like lol. But that's a small thing.
We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were promptly seated and treated very politely by the wait staff. The facility was clean and orderly, the atmosphere was very enjoyable. We ordered the following dishes. Miso soup -Traditional and very tasty Yakisoba w/ beef -Having spent time in Japan I thought it was very authentic tasting consisting of buckwheat noodles with very tender thinly sliced beef and a variety of vegetables. Spicy tuna roll -8 pieces, very fresh tasting, beautifully prepared and came with the traditional wasabi and ginger. Tempura Vegetable w/chicken -Excellent tempura, beautifully prepared and wonderfully tasting Cloud 9 dessert -A fluffy cake topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and caramel. The presentation of this dish was beautiful and was a delicious wonderful treat after our meal. We were very satisfied with the meals and service and will definitely eat here again.
After attending Kenner's Christmas village, my husband and I wanted sushi. This place has real Wasabi, beautifully prepared sushi, kid-friendly options, and great service. It was slow at that time, probably because of the weather, but the server and the owner were super friendly and down-to-earth. It's a good, chill spot with quality food. Even our picky toddler loved it.
Fantastic sushi restaurant. Timely, great service. Went on a Wednesday and they had free bottles wine for every 50 spent...aka wine Wednesday. The food tasted amazing and we were incredibly happy with Eric?? who just prepared something to a budget for us. Convenient, quiet location by the airport. When discovering restaurants, sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Pro tip: order the REAL wasabi. You’ll never go back to wanting green horseradish again.
Picked up a Metairie roll and Katsu chicken.for dinner. Everything is fresh and delicious, was ready on time, and staff are friendly. Food is always good, and lunch is quick, too.
The food was fresh and had a good flavor, but the rolls were not tight, so they fell apart easily. High-quality ingredients, though. The service was excellent, and the lighting is cozy. Clean tables and silverware free of spots.
Excellent curry dishes, sushi, aged tofu, Yakatori, and Harumaki. Took a large order for 6 of us. No mistakes made on any order. Love the check out system when it's time to pay.
